This year, through a local business networking group in Manchester NH, Secondwind Water Systems has been asked to volunteer with the Building On Hope organization. Building on Hope is a community organization that was founded in 2009 and consists of builders, architects, designers who donate their time and materials to help non-profit organizations that offer human services to New Hampshire residents.
In 2014 Building on Hope is working with Opportunity Networks in Amherst, NH. Opportunity Networks works with Souhegan Valley and Greater Nashua adults and young adults with acquired and developmental disabilities. The construction project started in January of 2014 and involves the complete renovation of a 30-year-old building into a state-of-the-art environment that will help provide better “opportunities,” no pun intended, for the individuals in need.
Secondwind Water Systems will donate a drinking water system in addition to manual labor to this important project.
