Choosing a commercial water filtration company
At Secondwind Water Systems, we don’t think of ourselves as equipment salespeople. We’re providers of better water. Whether your company heats, cools, or humidifies with it, manufactures with it, uses it in your products or services, or drinks it, we’re confident our commercial water systems department can provide reliable and consistent water.
Here’s a brief look at the commercial water systems side and public water systems side of Secondwind:
Our commercial water technicians offer design, installation and service to a wide variety of businesses and industries. We’re passionate about treating water.
A successful water treatment system is the result of a thorough site evaluation, the application of intelligent design principles and the use of well engineered equipment professionally installed and serviced. We have high confidence, which includes Kinetico’s efficient, reliable and expertly-designed systems.
Kinetico is one of the most efficient and longest lasting water treatment systems available. However, we also carry other brands of equipment to meet tight budgets or when communication with a control panel is necessary.
For commercial businesses, you may need filters, softeners, or reverse osmosis that provide flexibility in how they operate and backwash. Some systems have to communicate with other building controls to work within your system.
Secondwind carries several brands of systems. Our premiere line is Kinetico twin tank, non-electric metered filters and softeners. We also carry electric single and multiple tank systems with a variety of programming options. We have the system that best meets your needs.
- Water softeners: Good commercial water softeners offer flexibility in setup and operation. They can be set up in a parallel flow for maximum flow rate or in an alternating configuration for maximum efficiency. Systems can be designed to provide treated water 24 hours per day and they can be set up to backwash the treated water.
- Drinking water systems: We carry reverse osmosis systems from 24 gpd to 10,000 gpd. They are available with pressurized storage or atmospheric storage. Our options allow us to find the best fit.
- Water filters: Softeners remove dissolved particles like hardness from your water. Filters remove solid particles like sediment or iron. We carry the same range of options in our filters as we do our softeners.
- Speciality systems: The Trojan UVMax system incorporates the most advanced ultraviolet technology, ensuring a robust, cost-effective and efficient solution to your disinfection needs. The elapsed time meter reminds you when it is time for your annual bulb replacement.
We work with you directly to determine the problem source, understand what the requirements are and understand you, the customer. Then, we present a solution that meets your needs, works today and for many years.
Our goal is to make you a customer for life – one that we have achieved with many New Hampshire companies. That takes hard work, caring and a real commitment to every one of our customers.
Choosing a public water systems company
Public Water Systems include schools, businesses and communities. These water systems are regulated through the Safe Drinking Water Act, even if privately owned.
We operate or sample more than 140 systems in New Hampshire. We protect public health by maintaining safe and reliable drinking water for thousands of users. We care for our customers as if we were drinking the same water they do every day.
Removing chemicals from drinking water like gasoline or PFAS
Taking gasoline out of water to make it safe to drink or bathe is one of our special services. Imagine the water from a sink smelling like you’re putting gas in your car. When we’ve performed this service, the water is completely safe to use.
Outreach and relationship management
For our commercial customers, we provide preventive maintenance for water quality so they don’t have to constantly worry about its safety. We develop maintenance programs specific to your needs and to your schedule. Once a quarter or once a year, we can build a program for you.
Outreach and relationship management is another arm of the commercial side of our business. We look at new construction and potential customers that could benefit from better water. It could be drinking water at a business, humidifiers at a hospital or boilers in an apartment building.
Everyone at Secondwind shares a passion for clean water. We believe we are the best solution for water challenges in New Hampshire, and we deliver that quality to every customer. Many of our residential and business relationships are decades-long. We think it says a lot about us that our customers stay with us for so long.
Secondwind is proud to offer Kinetico’s efficient, reliable and expertly-designed commercial water treatment equipment. We complement Kinetico’s offerings with products from a wide variety of high quality vendors to put together a system that will meet your needs and your budget. Our business water treatment products are engineered for success.
