Our employees are involved in their communities in a wide variety of ways. Some help through large service projects, or through work with area non-profits, and some help out on a much more personal and individual scale.
Steven Savary, a member of our fine Water Technicians crew, is one example. Steven is a woodworker and carpenter. On his week off you can find him gutting a room at his wife’s daycare and installing hand-hewn bookshelves and benches. He is gifted with his hands, and this talent extends to the fine work he does with our systems. Steven is passing on these skills and gifts to his two daughters.
Steven makes a difference in the lives of those he knows. He puts his woodworking skills into action for donations. Recently, he made and donated four cutting boards and one pallet art piece to the Team Thomas silent auction, which benefitted a three-year old with leukemia.
We are proud of our Secondwind family for always being ready to jump in and help where it’s needed. Thank you Steven, for your compassion, talent, and willingness to assist your community.
