Title at Secondwind: Certified Water Geek, lvl 3.
What do you do at Secondwind? I meet with homeowners, typically, who live on private wells and have concerns with either the safety or the aesthetics of their water. I also meet with homeowners who have concerns with their city water supplies. I help people interested in improving their water through their process by providing solutions to their concerns and discuss the maintenance required for various systems to keep their water in tip top shape.
What’s your favorite part about working with the Secondwind Family? I enjoy meeting new people every day from all different walks of life. I think what I enjoy most is when we successfully solve a customer’s water problem, especially if it’s one that hasn’t been able to be solved before. But the feedback from customer’s that they appreciate what we do, and our level of customer service is the most gratifying.
What have you learned while working at Secondwind? Every day is a new challenge. It takes an incredible amount of work and effort to be a successful water treatment company, and evolution is the key. I try to learn something new and be better than I was the day before and Secondwind has taught me to strive for that and, to never feel like I know everything I need to know already.
What is something not a lot of people know about you? I played the alto saxophone in middle school for 3 years and quit because the teacher made fun of me once in front of the whole class.
Who inspires you in life in general and why? I’m not necessarily inspired by any one particular person. Being around people who always have a positive outlook on life is always inspiring to me. People who always see the world as “the glass is half full,” no matter what, gets thrown at them always makes me want to feel like that too, and I feed off of that energy.
When not at Secondwind, what are you up to? When I’m not working you can find me snowblowing/shoveling my driveway, mowing the lawn, replacing light bulbs, taking out the trash and watching Netflix. When the weather is warmer I like to be outside attempting to play golf. Mostly though, you’ll find me making blanket forts and playing games with my son, being goofy.
