Residential Safety Protocol
Service and Installations
No-contact Appointments
- In all cases possible, we will engage in a no-contact service or installation call. All communication will be by phone call or video chat app.
- We will ask for your phone or cell number so that the technician can communicate with you about any questions or concerns.
- The Technician will phone you upon reaching your driveway, so you know we are there. He or she will also phone when leaving to go over instructions or questions.
- If your water treatment is in a basement or separate part of the home, we will ask you to leave the door unlocked so that we may enter and exit without any contact.
- If your water treatment is in a location within the home that requires us to go through common areas, we will develop a no-contact plan with you ahead of time.
- For example, we may request that you are upstairs or outside when we are doing our work. Our technician will call you when he arrives so that he can be allowed entry.
- Any area in which we work will be thoroughly sanitized before and after service.
- All technicians will wash or sanitize their hands before and after servicing or installing equipment, and regularly throughout the day.
- We will request payment by credit card ahead of the service or installation. Should there be a further balance because of additional work we can handle that by credit card or billing.
Water Testing and System Design
In order for us to understand your water chemistry and design a system that will meet your needs, our Certified Water Specialists will have to enter your home. Here are the steps we are taking to minimize exposure in this process.
- Our Certified Water Specialist will create a plan with you for a low-contact appointment based on your home layout and your preferences.
- Any area in which we work will be thoroughly sanitized before and after.
- All Water Specialists will wash or sanitize their hands before and after entering your home, and regularly throughout the day
- We will maintain a distance of at least six feet and wear a mask.
- If we can speak with you outside of your home, that is ideal.
- We will refrain from shaking your hand. Please don’t ask. We really hate saying no.
If you prefer a no-contact appointment, we will make arrangements for phone or video chat.
If we have to speak with you in person, we will implement low-contact protocols:
